Yüksel Gamgam, born in 1935, Tekirdağ, graduated from Galatasaray High School and, received his undergraduate diploma from textile engineering in the UK.

As one of the founders of the first local factory of asynchronous motors together with his brother after returning to Turkey, Yüksel Gamgam was the first person to introduce many innovations in the sector. Blazing an another trail in 2014, he established a company under the name Omega Motor to engage in the production of high energy-efficient motors at IE3 and IE4 standards.

Building on the experience of Yüksel Gamgam for more than a half century, Omega Motor is the first company in Turkey to enter the market of mass production of IE3, IE4 motors.
