A Panel on Energy Efficiency in Motor and Drive Applications was organized in the Faik Çelik Automotive Engineering Conference Hall, Uludağ University on November 15, 2018 under the leadership of BUSIAD (Bursa Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association).

During this organization in which our Sales & Marketing Manager Volkan Dağlıyan and, R&D Chief Tuğçe Yener Özkan, participated as speakers, it was highlighted that out of the electricity consumption in Turkey, 47% of that is consumed for industrial applications and, 67% of that is consumed by motors.

Further, the participants have been informed in a detailed manner about the reason of the ban on the use of IE2 motors in Turkey and Europe. It has been highlighted that we lead the motor transformation progress in Turkey by means of only manufacturing IE3 (Premium) and IE4 (Super Premium) motors. It has also been stated that thanks to these investments, we would become one of the world’s leading motor factories with the aim of reducing the current account deficit of Turkey concerning the trade of electric motors.
